I am just a hobbyist but I was pleasantly surprised with a Sigma 18-250mm lens I bought in early Summer.
A tow plane was flying over my house so I decided to take a few photos with my new Sigma lens. I handheld the camera and shot 2 photos, one at 50mm and one at 250mm. I cropped them to 7x5 inch and than used PS to zoom and crop even more.
I am very happy with what this Sigma lens is capable of.
